LOADING UP COMPUTERS IN ROUTE TO ZAMBIA IN
AFRICA THROUGH MENNONITE CENTRAL COMMITTEE.

WE DONATED THESE COMPUTERS TO THEM BECAUSE WE
KNEW THEY WOULD BE PUT TO GOOD USE IN AFRICA. WE THANK ALL THE
EFFORT FROM ADAM (WHO LOADED THE LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM ON ALL
THE COMPUTERS) STEVE, FRED AND RUDY (WHO USED THEIR MUSCLE
TO LOAD THE TRUCK).

What We Do
- Recycling,
Any computer equipment, working or not, can be donated to FREE
GEEK-PENN; we will repair and reuse what computers we can.
Non-functioning computers and scrap will be recycled
responsibly.
- Steel
is sold to Ephrata Recycling
-
Obsolete monitors and terminals are processed through
Lancaster Solid Waste Management
-
Circuit boards and
processors are sold for precious metal recovery
If you wish to drop off your old nonworking
computer, VCR, cell phone or mostly anything with a circuit
board come on in to see us. Maybe you just want to look around and
see what we do. Everyone is welcome.
There is only one thing we do request a $10
donation for all monitors. This helps to offset our cost
in recycling them. Thank you for your co-operation.
Our recycling is free to businesses
and individuals alike.
HOURS:
We are open:
Monday thru Friday
10:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday
10:00am to 4:00pm
Any additional information please
check our brochure.
If there is anyone out there that
would be able to give us legal support we would be grateful. We are
asking for volunteers for these positions as we still don't have
enough money to pay a salary for them.
Things are looking better, but we
still need more computers coming in.
Latest News:
We now take credit cards
in house for donations.
Come by and see our mural
being painted by June Lang. It's a work in progress showing what we
are about. For a better view click on photo to make it larger.

Just a note from us, all monitors
have a suggested $10 donation. This is to help offset our
costs so we can come out even. Thank you for your help in this
matter.
Thanks goes to Jonathan Groff. He
is the owner of Nexis Media. He helped us with our web site.
